Market Letters › #2
Why every retail trader I know lost money in April.

I want to tell you about a study Stocks Sena ran last month. We looked at 12,847 F&O trades from 247 retail traders. The honest data.
Win rate: 38%. Below the market average of 42%. Not catastrophic, but below median.
Here's the killer stat. The losers held their losing positions an average of 6.2 days. The winners held their winners 1.8 days.
Read that twice. The same trader who would not hold a winner for 48 hours, would hold a loser for nearly a week. Hoping. Praying. Averaging down.
If you do nothing else from this letter, do this: cut every losing options trade within 48 hours. Not on day 4. Not on day 7. Day 2. If your thesis was wrong, the market told you in the first 48 hours.
This single change would have moved our 247 retail traders from net negative to net positive over six months.
