Alembic Pharmaceuticals Limited told the exchanges on 5 June 2026 that it has received Final Approval from the US Food and Drug Administration (USFDA) for Haloperidol Tablets USP in 1 mg, 2 mg, 5 mg, 10 mg and 20 mg strengths.
Haloperidol is an antipsychotic used to treat certain mental and mood conditions. A final USFDA approval lets the company market the generic in the United States.
Alembic Pharmaceuticals is a healthcare company with a market value of about Rs 14,500 crore. Its shares were little changed at around Rs 736, and are down about 25% over the past year.
