Bluspring Enterprises Limited told the exchanges on 5 June 2026 that its wholly owned step-down subsidiary, STEAG Energy Services (India) Private Limited, has been awarded a contract by Bharat Aluminium Company Limited (BALCO) for the operations and maintenance of BALCO’s 1,740 MW power plant.
The O&M mandate covers running and maintaining the captive thermal capacity that supports BALCO’s aluminium operations.
Bluspring is a services company with a market value of about Rs 1,180 crore. Its shares rose about 10.9% on the day to around Rs 93, among the stronger gainers in the session.
