Glenmark Pharmaceuticals Limited told the exchanges on 5 June 2026 that its US subsidiary, Glenmark Pharmaceuticals Inc., USA, has launched Lacosamide Injection USP, 200 mg/20 mL (10 mg/mL), in single-dose vials.
Lacosamide is used in the management of seizures. The company said its product is bioequivalent and therapeutically equivalent to the reference listed drug, allowing it to compete in the US institutional market.
Glenmark is a healthcare company with a market value of about Rs 64,000 crore. Its shares were broadly flat at around Rs 2,167, and are up about 44% over the past year.
